Yoda's hut could be cool if it's not overpriced. I haven't got a Star Wars set in years so this could be a treat for me. But I haven't got anything non minidoll related this year besides Macy, Axl ultimates and a few free things. :P It's a shame they won't just stop microfighters and give Star Wars mighty micros, we'd get more interesting figures at least.

We got leaked set lists of all themes early August last year, let's hope for the same this year.

I really hope we get the city park set and minecraft figure packs for other themes. We desperately need more mini-doll face prints for Friends and there's only 10 residents of Elvendale so far. :P I'd also like to see a possible citizens of the Super Heroes line minifigure pack with four minifigures dressed in super hero attire, Wonder Woman shirt, Batman hat ect.

Don't you dare even think of suggesting that :D Mighty Micros minifigs look kinda dumb to me, even if they did have regular legs. With all the Freemaker stuff that isn't even SW, the last thing SW needs in even more sets dedicated to distractions and useless minifigs when there are so many things missing. Looks like one of the biggest missing things might soon be released at least (an Episode I final duel set).

Microfighters are also an easy way to build up and army of things that didn't come out in battle packs (like the First Order Snowtrooper or latest version of the Clone Trooper). Plus you get minor characters that aren't otherwise included in sets (eg, Snap Wexley). Plus I like the Microfighter style, the vehicles are well designed and look nice, Mighty Micros are just cars and I think will get old after a while.

Anyway, yep, late July/August is always the time for leaks, JediNews traditionally puts out a SW rumour list any time around now then everything else follows soonafter that :)

Microfighters just look like bigger less interesting mighty micros too me, but I see where your coming from. :P I thought micro fighters were a distraction from missing stuff as well, though I'm shocked with the amount of sets Star Wars gets we don't have everything yet. Isn't it really expensive to use micro fighters as an army builder seeing as they're like $10 each.

Out of curiosity would you like Star Wars to get less sets in order for other themes to get more? I wouldn't mind scarfing some Friends and Elves stuff (if we get five if the same builds in different sizes again I'll scream, I still need three of the dragons and I'm already bored with them :P) to get more mini doll or at least pastel sets. I'm not

Here's a shot of the new hairpiece for Han.

I guess they are a distraction in a sense, but they're six (now 4) extra sets without any being taken away, and they're just nice cheap little things to pick up. And the minifigures match the rest of the figures in the theme so they at least can be blended in. Definitely not as good an army builder as battle packs, I only pick up multiples when it's a buy 2 get 1 free or a half price sale and only for ones I really want multiple minifigures of (only 3 so far- latest Clone Trooper which was exclusive to the turbo tank, an enlisted Imperial Crew member from the star destroyer and the FO Snowtrooper from the snowspeeder). I'd say it was definitely worth it for me, but geting multiples would probably only be for people who were right into SW.

Less SW for more sets in other themes- definitely not :P I think SW, both Super Heroes and Ninjago all have a pretty good number of sets coming out per wave at the moment, and I don't really care too much about anything else at the moment. I wouldn't mind if they took out a couple of remakes and either made new stuff or gave them to a new theme (Power Rangers) but I think other themes that I don't really collect like City, Creator, Architecture etc still get a pretty good amount of sets too.

Oh, it's about time. :P It looks better designed than the wigs Luke and Leia got a few years ago, so maybe the wait was worth it.

@Star Wars discussion: I'm only commenting because someone said "Super Heroes", so I'm mostly thinking about that. The number of sets might be reasonable, but they have suddenly gotten large, expensive, and remain not very good. For the first couple of years, there was only one set in each subtheme that was over $50 (aside from Arkham), but now you've got a new D2C every year and several sets both at and above the $50 mark. Like the new Scarecrow and Killer Croc sets are bigger than they have to be, and despite all the praise it gets, I think the Civil War airport is really boring aside from Giant-Man.These sets are really about the characters, yet they are so expensive and have builds that seem they were only designed to justify selling them for ridiculous amounts. Like, I love Blue Beetle and Killer Moth, but $50 is a lot of money when even if other parts of the set seem okay, I wouldn't look at them twice if it didn't have those two. Or there is that Joker car they announced, which is the same price for only three characters. Even if the amount of sets is okay, it still seems like there is fat they can trim, but I know they won't, because they revealed that Batmobile and you've got people going "OMG i have never heard of the sudoku twin. he really sells this set."

That's probably why I have never bought a Star Wars set even though I like the movies. The line feels inapproachable to me. It just seems that all of the important and cool characters are either in huge sets or are some obscure/ugly variant. Maybe it isn't as bad as Super Heroes because you have got things like X-Wings and speeder bikes and snowspeeders, but I don't care about those (except snowspeeders. all the snowspeeders plz)....

Edit: Oh, and Microfighters are better that Mighty Micros in every way except minifigure count and "it's so bad it's good!" But a Darth Maul Mighty Micro might be the best thing since the Red Skull Mighty Micro.

Why did it take so long for Han to get a new hairpiece anyway? That looks pretty good, but the image is blurry as fuddle.

If we're ranting about figure content mini-dolls really need an update. (Don't kill me Nova :P) I mean how many other themes reuse the main characters' faces on multiple different characters. We haven't got many interesting ones since 2013 either and Iva is the worse excuse for a teacher I've ever seen. :P There wasn't even an employee or clown or anything at the amusement park. Belle didn't even have the right eye colour. It's also strange to see the total lack of mini dolls in sets like Ragana's castle only has three, when a Friends set at its price would have four where a city set would have 7. Even within themes the treetop hideaway has 3 where the more expensive queen dragon only has two. This leads to a total lack of characters and extremely limited customization.

It'll be interesting what they do in DC Superhero girls character wise because they'll have to do at least one villain in order for it to be superhero-y right? And then we'll probably have Steve thrown in as a love interest in the café set. Then we'd probably need a teacher and that's already 10 characters if we get the original line up and annoyingly that's to much for a mini doll theme of its size. Ivy's and Harley's hairpieces have been shown in the Lego batman movie, but interestingly enough unless it has one on the back Harley's does not have a hole (Ivy's has at least one). Also I expect the super pets, microfig Bumblebee, Grodd and Beast Boy in animal form to bulk up the figure count. Unless we do get minifigures though then we'd probably only get pointlessly expensive sets.

Superheroes does have an awful lot of pointlessly big sets just to sell exclusive figures. Honestly most of DC sets come to memory and apart from Giant Man all those civil war builds were just made up from the designers imagination to sell sets rather than figure packs. Eh at least next year with the Batman movie we'll get a few cheap sets, though the figures in those may be rather boring. Minecraft seems to be the only licensed theme that doesn't focus on the figures and rather the builds, but even then I don't like the builds. Most of them seem unfinished and I don't really see the appeal. That being said if I was paying $70 for a mine craft treehouse I'd like to have more new characters or at least variants than just a new cat and a bunch of common figures. Belle's castle is one of the saddest excuses of the "awful build but buy because figures" trope I've seen recently. The City park set is also rather overhyped just because it includes a bunch of new prints, a baby and a wheelchair. Though if they made a mini-doll version I'd be a very happy girl. :P

Per Berry on the Star Wars oberservstion, too many expensive sets with the desirable characters never being excessible.
