700/3 Automatic Binding Bricks was the one of the first Lego set ever made. It featured the first Lego bricks that ever came out. The bricks weren't as strong and appealing as they are now, but the were good for their time. When this set came out, the box it came in featured two kids building house and other objects to show kids and families what they could do with lego. Only the basic 2 by 2 and 4 by 2 bricks was included in this set.

Notes

The first Automatic Binding Brick sets were known as Gaveæske (Gift Sets). In 1949 at least 4 different sets were released: 700/1, 700/2, 700/3 and 700/4 (listed in descending size) The Automatic Binding Bricks 1949.gif
