Brickipedia:Articles for Deletion
| Overview
Articles for Deletion is where nominations for pages in need of deletion can be placed. Before proposing an article for deletion, consider marking it with a maintenance tag instead or propose an article merger. Note: "Vandal pages" should be marked with {{Speedy}}, and do not need to be discussed here. If you are unsure whether a page should be speedy deleted or not, then nominate it for deletion here and an Administrator will see if it is worth of speedy deletion. |

Template:User_meta and Category:Brickipedians who contribute to Brickimedia Meta
Making a proposal just in case. Should we keep this and change it to "Used to contribute to" (past tense), or just delete it? SamanthaNguyen (talk)

01:19, 7 June 2017 (UTC) - Never really understood how you'd really "contribute to meta" in the first place since it was mainly for image uploads NovaHawk 01:29, 7 June 2017 (UTC)

- So there's also Template:User customs, Category:Brickipedians_who_contribute_to_Brickimedia_Customs, Category:Brickipedians who also contribute to the Custom Lego Wiki, Category:Brickipedians who contribute to the LEGO Ideas Wiki, as well as Template:User ideasWiki. We should probably delete these too. SamanthaNguyen (talk)

- Well we do have Template:User reviews for the reviews space, so we should probably either delete the reviews template or turn the customs one into one for the fan space NovaHawk 02:14, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
All skins with their own project page along with Brickipedia:Skins
There's not enough content for each skin to have their own project page really. These pages are Brickipedia:Refreshed, Brickipedia:Deep Sea, Brickipedia:Monobook, Brickipedia:Lia, Brickipedia:Quartz, Brickipedia:Custard, and Brickipedia:Skins. Instead, we could just link people for those curious to Special:Preferences to show them what skins they can choose from, as well as Special:Version.

- (as an aside, can someone with access please fix the logo on Deep Sea? It's disappeared ever since the files have been moved from Meta. Also if it's possible- any chance of removing the top left sidebar since we're only one wiki now?) NovaHawk 02:01, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks NovaHawk for posting that! I'll try to get this sorted soon, the issue is because the URL to the logo needs its pathing fixed, which requires fixing up the value for $wgLogo since DeepSea supports that variable. As for the top left sidebar, I've submitted a patch to the master branch of DeepSea at https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/346089/ which will undergo a code review. Once it's passed review, it'll be +2'd (merged) into the repo, and then we'll also have to pull the latest changes from the skin's repo to this wiki since it's currently running an outdated version of the skin. Once that's done, I'll go around and edit MediaWiki:Deepsea.css on here and on GBCW since they're referencing the ID
#p-media, which will (soon) no longer exist. SamanthaNguyen (talk) 03:03, 3 April 2017 (UTC)- Hey, so we can't pull changes from DeepSea repo for now just yet (although the patch has been merged into the repo), but I've made some temporary changes to MediaWiki:Deepsea.css. Once we get back on track we can remove these changes, but for now these 2 CSS hacks do almost the same thing. SamanthaNguyen (talk) 23:29, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking care of all that :) Sorry I didn't think it would have been such a problem to get the logo fixed, wouldn't have asked if I knew NovaHawk 00:24, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

The following section is preserved as an archive. Please do not modify it. The result was Brickipedia:Beta period tasklistThis page was imported from Meta and was originally for the Beta phase a few years ago, should we delete it or keep it as an archive for historical reference? (Won't hurt to keep it either) Keep

While being precise is always important, we don't need to be too precise, as in "Jack Phoenix deployed extension X at 1 March 2016 13:45 UTC" but rather focus on the big picture. --Jack Phoenix (talk) 14:48, 10 August 2016 (UTC) Comments
