Articles for Scrap - Proposed Mergers - Proposed Splits
Overview
Shortcut:
BP:AFS

Articles for Scrap is where nominations for pages in need of deletion can be placed.

Before proposing an article for deletion, consider marking it with a maintenance tag instead or propose an article merger.

Note: "Vandal pages" should be marked with {{Speedydelete}}, and do not need to be discussed here. If you are unsure whether a page should be speedy deleted or not, then nominate it for deletion here and an Administrator will see if it is worth of speedy deletion.

Instructions for use

To leave a nomination, click here and replace Article Name with the name of the article that you think should be deleted. Under the Delete header, type the reason why you think the article should be deleted, and then sign your name with ~~~~. Also, please leave {{delete}} on the nominated page. Voting will take place for two weeks to determine if the page should be deleted.

Martian Hive

Not needed, can be merged with Mars Mission. User:Samdo994/sig1 12:01, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Delete

  1. User:Samdo994/sig1 12:01, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Or merge to Mars Mission or CrystAlien Conflict. Doesn't appear in a set or anything, only relevant to the theme's storyline and the online game. NovaHawk 05:09, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Gladiatoring 07:35, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

Category:Named Minifigues

Delete

  1. Gladiatoring 21:30, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Can't see a point to having it- the theme either has named minifigures, or it doesn't. why not just look up a theme, or put the minifigure theme cats into a "named minifigures" cat if it's that big a deal? NovaHawk 06:42, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
Lots of themes have both named AND unnamed minifigures.User:BobaFett2/sig2 11:33, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
  3. After I have seen some edits to Kranxx, Frenzy and Jawson, nearly every minifigure should be named then. So it's unneeded. User:Samdo994/sig1 12:25, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
  4. No point.User:Agent Fuse/sig 18:59, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
What about the Space Police Officers? They aren't really "Named"User:BobaFett2/sig2 12:49, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
We would rather need a category called "unnamed minifigures". :P User:Samdo994/sig1 16:18, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
And, is there anything wrong with adding useful categories??User:BobaFett2/sig2 16:42, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
To the Category:Named Minifigures? It's unneeded since nearly every minifigure would fall into that category, so yes. User:Samdo994/sig1 11:08, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
No, most figures are unnamed, and would fall under that category.User:BobaFett2/sig2 12:00, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
Tell me five unnamed minifigures of the Adventurers theme. Tell me five unnamed minifigures of the Space Police III theme. Tell me five unnamed minifigures of the Agents theme. Tell me five unnamed minifigures of the Indiana Jones theme. Really, only the City themed minifigures have no names. User:Samdo994/sig1 12:11, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
Samdo, it's not # because we're not voting. From Space Police III? The Space Police Officers are technically unnamed. From Adventurers? Palace Guards (Scorpion Palace and India Palace). I can't give you five, because those are mostly made up of named minifigures, but City, Town, Space, Castle, Trains, and Pirates are chalk full of them.User:BobaFett2/sig2 12:14, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
It is #. If you notice, there's no numbers next to these comments. #: just means that the number that the vote is up to is preserved, eg if someone voted below here, the number would be 5, not reset to 1 if they used a #. NovaHawk 12:17, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
So it is better to have a category:unnamed minifigures after your argumentation. User:Samdo994/sig1 12:19, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
    I'm saying that it's better to have both.User:BobaFett2/sig2 12:20, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
ô.ô That means we have to add those two categories to every single minifigure in Brickipedia. -.- Well then, good luck! User:Samdo994/sig1 12:28, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
Ummm... if they have a name, isn't it implied that they are named minifigures? NovaHawk 12:39, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
No, named Minifigures refers to officially NAMED-not just given a title by fans.12:46, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Limited edition means they don't make a lot, right? See Irnakk, Umbra, etc.User:BobaFett2/sig2 12:02, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Comments

This page is related to the usa only, limited edition sets are sold in diff stores in diff countries, can be sold in more than one store, some are released in a normal box without limited edition written on it and in most cases are not really limited edition. Dont think this page is needed and those sets that are on it were all widely available throughout the world.
They released some sets exclusively from some stores and didn't stock a lot of them.User:BobaFett2/sig2 19:28, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • For this to go through, the category shall need to be emptied. ----- It's Magic - Kingcjc 14:00, October 29, 2010 (UTC)

Racer twn008 and Racer rac020

Nominated for deletion by User:TheGrandEditor for "Duplicate/Same as Lucky", however, Glad protests that is a variant of Lucky and should be kept. Moved here from article edit summaries.

There are two versions of Lucky besides the computer game version. The first has a flame pattern on the green helmet, and the second has a plain green helmet. The green hair was inside set 6617 Tough Truck Rally as was a flame version of the green helmet, the instructions had Lucky wearing the helmet, so the hair was an extra piece. The pages have been created and I dont understand why delete them when eventually unique minifigures will have thier own page. The detail on the pages just needs to be changed to reflect the variation and the set or sets that variation appeared in( lining each page together), as I did with the Fabuland figures and variations of those.
