Requests

From Brickipedia, the LEGO Wiki

Official Friends are websites that Brickipedia endorses and links to on its main page.

Making a Request

Before making an official friends request, your site should:

  • Be primarily about LEGO
  • Already have some degree of activity or interest from LEGO fans.

Additionally, since this is intended as a two-way relationship, once an official friend request is approved, you are expected to link to Brickipedia (http://en.brickimedia.org/), and place this link somewhere relatively easy to find on your site. Failure to do so is likely to have your official friend status revoked.

To make a request, please copy the following code, fill out the appropriate sections and add it to the bottom of the page. Please note that you should only make a request if you are an owner, administrator, or webmaster of a site, and have the site's approval to make such a request.

Comments from user requesting official friend status:

Hi Brickipedia users,

I'm BoatsAreRockable one of the admins of the Brickfilms Wiki. Most of our users are from bricksinmotion.com and in November we adopted this wiki on Wikia. Our wiki is still quite small, but personally I'd say quite well run and we would welcome the promotion from being listed as an official friend of Brickipedia. If approved this wiki's logo would in return be displayed on our main page in a sidebar module below the current 'Wiki Community' one. In addition I will try to make sure that when LEGO sets are mentioned on our wiki we link to the appropriate page on this one. Thank you for considering my request and I will reply to any questions as promptly as possible.

Personally I think it would be great if there were more ties between the brickfilming and general LEGO community, hopefully this could be one step towards that.

  1. The wiki looks like it has a lot of promise. I can imagine this friendship benefiting both wikis: people looking for brickfilms will likely wind up at the brickfilm wiki, but are also likely LEGO fans and could potentially check out a link to Brickipedia. As for the reverse, I'm sure a lot of LEGO fans are interested in brickfilms and would check out a link to the brickfilm wiki, especially if an "official" wiki like us endorses it. Plus, after navigating the wiki, I think it looks developed and professional enough so far. BrickfilmNut (talk) 18:19, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
  2. Looking through the wiki, most if not all of their articles are developed along with a bright community. This connection would work well between these 2 wikis. Codyn329 (talk) 22:37, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
  3. Per those who are located in the space above me - indeed, I could have just typed "pa", but this way it looks to those who just skim through that I typed out something both well-thought out and, perhaps, reasonable. CJC95 (talk) 22:41, 21 February 2015 (UTC)

  • I'm neutral for now as the wikia is currently to small. Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg
    • So apparently 242 content pages is too small? Codyn329 (talk) 22:37, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
