This is Brickipedia's requests for chat moderator page, on which any user may request chat moderator rights. Chat moderators have the ability to kick and ban users from chat who are being disruptive.

If you are considering nominating yourself for chat moderator, please read through the checklist to make sure that you meet the criteria.

To file a request, place the following code under the "current requests" header, above any existing requests.

Requests made on this page are a vote, meaning that if they achieve at least 80% support then they will be closed as successful. Opposers must provide reasons for opposing. Most requests last for around a week, unless there is clear consensus either way after a short period of time.

If a user has been nominated for chat moderator before, add 2 to the end of the topic header. For users with multiple requests, add the respective number of the request. It is also considered good practice to link to previous requests for rights when nominating a user.

Seeing as it has been many many months since I last requested, I decided to give it another shot. Not much has happened, really. And there has been somewhat (in my opinion) an increase in nonsense in chat. One of the more "active" users, if that means anything. I've been waiting to do this, so let's see what happens!    You've improved a lot for sure. You still occasionally are a bit rude to some users, but I think if you improve on the politeness/respect you deliver in chat, you'd be fine. 2. I'll likely change to support later, as Sci was admin on Brickimedia's customs wiki and it didn't look like any harm came out of it. I'm selfnomming myself to become a new chat moderator. I think I'd do good in this position because;

• I'm trustable. I mean, I make good edits, I do good with Patroller, and I wrote that one good review, and I do it every day. So, what can go wrong with an extra responsibility on my hands?
• I'm familiar with the rights. When the Yoshi Wiki was really active, I gained sysop and moderated chat, so I got familiar with the chat mod stuff.
• I'm respected, and respectable. I cannot name one person who regularly goes to this wiki that openly dislikes me. And also, I cannot name one person that I really do not like (other than spammers, they bug me to pieces ._.).
• I'm a good community member. I'm used to the community, as I've been coming to this chat since December of 2011. I fit in well with the rest of the community, too. I've also never been blocked or banned from chat. I am also a large anti vandal, as I revert spam and vandalism within usually the first couple minutes of it being done.
• I'm active. Just ask Meiko or CM4S, I've been on chat nearly every day since Brickimedia's closure.

Oh yeah, and here's a quote by Mr. Meiko: "If he improved some of his actions, he'd actually be fine. He's a knowledgeable user, understands how wikis work, and is able to identify the strong and weak points a wiki and its community has." User:MsD/SigCode
