Green Goblin is a minifigure based off a character from the Spider-Man movies and comics of the same name. He is one of Spider-Man's arch-nemeses.

Background
He appears in the first movie as Norman Osborn, a wealthy CEO of OSCORP, a weapons technology group. He is fired by his board for poor judgement regarding a contract. He has a son named Harry Osborn.
Becoming enraged, he becomes the Green Goblin with a suit of hi-tech armour, a glider, and the infusion of a powerful steroid drug into his system. He goes on a psychotic rampage, and attracts the attention of Spider-Man. They have a final battle at a large bridge after he kidnaps Mary Jane Watson. After being badly beaten, he attempts to distract Spider-Man with a fake plea for sympathy (he knows Spider-Man is really Peter Parker) while his glider prepares to impale Spiderman from behind. Using his Spider-sense, Spider-Man dodges the glider, which, in an ironic twist, kills Norman. He is the main focus of the first wave of Spider-Man sets.
Notes
- Sets produced with him include his transformation at the Oscorp building, him on his glider attacking Mary Jane Watson at a parade, and the climatic bridge fight.
- For an unknown reason Green Goblin was released once without a decorated mask.
- His body, helmet, and limbs are apple green while his belt and hands are green.
