Ninjago (subtitled Masters of Spinjitzu) is an upcoming Theme for January 2011. Some sets will feature a spinning piece that can be used in a battle game called "Spinjitzu".

Weapons
Spinjitzu
- Description
The game Spinjitzu is also a fighting style in the world of Ninjago where the characters spin and become tornadoes to defeat their enemies, but this is about the LEGO version where the Minifigures are placed on bases and spun like tops. The game spinjitzu is much like that of Beyblade. You can customize your weapons, spin your top to battle, and each of the weapons or minifigures has different abilities. On the other hand, there are a few differences. You use ability cards in Spinjitzu and none in Beyblade. Also, you cannot build attachments for your Beyblade yourself, whereas in LEGO the whole principle is to build new things for your world.
According to a Ninjago poster in the Jan-Feb 2011 Lego Club Magazine, the goal is to knock your opponent's weapon out of their hands. It also says that the cards either power up your spinner, or sabotages your opponent's.
Notes
- On the Ninjago website it says, "Calling all Ninja! Lord Garmadon is on a mission: collect all four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu and, ultimately, rule the world. Can you stop him?"
- Some of the ninja Minifigures are similar to the Ninja from Collectable Minifigures.
- The Ninjago website now has profiles on the ninjas.
- On Nickelodean, a commercial stated a movie was coming soon. Also, it revealed the voices of the ninjas, and it also was revealed "NinjaGO" is pronounced "Nin-JAGO".
- The Ninjago spinner Minifigures and accessories are not made with LEGO's standard abs plastic. Instead, they are made with a cheaper chinese plastic, just like the Collectable Minifigures.
