Ninjago is a theme released in January 1 of 2011. Some sets contain a spinner that can be used in a battle game called "Spinjitzu".

Story

Long ago, the first master of Spinjitzu created the world of Ninjago. The master formed the world using the four mystic weapons of Ninjago: the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice, the Scythe of Quakes, and the Sword of Fire. The master then entrusted the world he had made and the four mystical weapons with his two sons, Sensei Wu and Lord Garmadon. His sons promised to protect the secrets of the weapons. However, Lord Garmadon was consumed by darkness and greed and wanted to take the power of the weapons for himself. After a great battle with his brother he was banished to the underworld forever.

But his evil was only made stronger by death. He became the ruler of the Underworld, and forged alliances with the skeletons that lived there. He plans to once again try to take the four weapons of Spinjitzu. But Sensei Wu has found four young ninjas, Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane, that are prepared to learn the ways of Spinjitzu. Only they can stop Lord Garmadon.

The Ninjago website reads "Calling all Ninja! Lord Garmadon is on a mission: collect all four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu and, ultimately, rule the world. Can you stop him?". FUCK THIS SHIT!!!!!!

Extra Characters in Spinjitzu Smash!

Spinjitzu

Description

Spinjitzu is a fighting style in the world of Ninjago where the characters spin and become tornadoes to defeat their enemies. In the game the Minifigures are placed on bases and spun like tops. You can customize your weapons and spin your spinner. Each of the weapons and minifigures have different abilities. You use ability cards in Spinjitzu.

The goal is to knock your opponent's character of off his or her spinner. The cards either power up your spinner, or sabotage your opponent's.

Notes

  • The ninja Minifigures are similar to the Ninja from the Minifigures theme, as well as the Ninja theme from 1998.
  • The Ninjago website has profiles on the ninjas.
  • "Ninjago" is pronounced "Nin-JA-go".
  • The Ninjago spinner Minifigures and accessories are not made with the standard ABS plastic. Instead, they use a cheaper Chinese plastic, like the ones in the Minifigures theme.
  • On the list of notable guests to Garmadon's Dark Fortress, it lists Bob the Ummm Barbarian.
  • The spinners released for Lord Garmadon, Sensei Wu, Wyplash and Kruncha will have a clear top, and the swords on their pagackings are golden instead of brown. [source?]
  • Currently, NINJAGO is LEGO's most favoured theme.
  • An entire area is dedicated to Ninjago on Crux Prime in Lego Universe. It includes a Malestrom Mine with skeletons (and ocasionally, Nuckal) and the ruins of the Ninjago Dojo, which in the game are explained to have been transported there after a brutal attack, supposedly after the main story of Ninjago.
