Background
Peter Parker is a successful student at his local High School. Even though he is one of the smartest, he is not the most popular student and is often bullied. One day his high school went on a field trip to a Spider museum. There he is bitten by a radioactive spider. Soon he starts to develop supernatural abilities, including the ability to climb walls, shoot webs from his hands, super strength and the ability to sense things, which he calls his spider sense.
Peter Parker then decides he will enter a wrestling competition to earn money, so he could win the love of his love interest, Mary Jane Watson, with a car. His uncle decides to drive him, thinking he is going to a library to study. Once Spider-Man wins the match, he is not paid the money he was promised. A criminal runs in and steals the money from the man who would not pay Spider-Man the money he deserves, and since Spider-Man wanted revenge, he let the robber escape. Later, a man who was with this robber,William Baker,(who later becomes the Sandman)kills Spider-Man's uncle. After this incident, Spider-Man decides that he will use his powers with responsibility. He then becomes a superhero, and stops many criminals.
Spider-Man also stops a variety of super villains including the Green Goblin, the father of his best friend, from wreaking havoc in the city, and Doc Ock, a scientist gone mad after four electrical arms are attached to his body.
