'''The Four Golden Weapons''' of Spinjitzu are the ''Scythe of Quakes'', the ''Nunchucks of Lightning'', the ''Shurikens of Ice'', and the ''Sword of Fire''. Their power is so great that no mortal can hold all of them at once. All four weapons are used in the [[2011]]-[[2012]] [[Ninjago]] theme.


== Background ==
The weapons were initially used by the first Spinjitzu master to create the world of [[Ninjago]]. After he died, his son, [[Lord Garmadon]], wanted to possess the power of the four weapons, and was consumed by evil. After being cast down to the underworld, Garmadon gathered a skeleton army to try and retrieve the weapons. He eventually succeeded, and escaped the underworld through a portal created by the weapons, vowing to return powerful enough to possess all four weapons at once. The Ninjas then took the weapons back to Ninjago, where they began learning to use their powers.

The '''Scythe of Quakes''' is one of the four golden weapons from [[Ninjago]] and was hidden by [[Sensei Wu]] in the Caves of Despair. It is wielded by [[Cole]], and can cause earthquakes and large cracks when swung into the ground. It can also turn into Cole's [[9444 Cole's Tread Assault|Tread Assault]] vehicle. The weapon has four different variations, and is seen in more sets than any other.

They are wielded by [[Zane]] and can shoot ice. They can also turn into Zane's [[9445 Fangpyre Truck Ambush|Snowmobile.]] They are the second most commonly seen golden weapon.

The '''Nunchaku of Lightning''' (more commonly referred to as the nunchucks of lighting) is one of the four golden weapons from [[Ninjago]], and is wielded by [[Jay]]. It was hidden by [[Sensei Wu]] in the Floating Ruins. It has the ability to fire lightning bolts. It can also turn into Jay's [[9442 Jay's Storm Fighter|Storm Fighter]]. There are two minor variations of this weapon. This golden weapon has appeared in the least sets so far. The Series's variation is completely different: They're two golden Dragon Heads held together by a bolt of lightning. This obviously would have been more difficult to produce, so LEGO put a more simple version in the sets (Though many weapons look different in the show.).

* In the last episode of [[Ninjago: Masters of Spinitzu]] Day of the Great Devourer, all 4 golden weapons disappear with [[Lord Garmadon]] after he defeated [[The Great Devourer]].
