Last night I was lucky enough to go to the premiere of the new Avengers: Age of Ultron movie, and now I'm here, giving my thoughts in a review. I'll try to keep this spoiler-free (except in the plot section) but if I can't manage that all spoilers will be marked.
Thoughts on the film
Overall, it was a great film. I personally believe that it was better than the first one, there were a lot of things done better.
The first thing that I feel was done better is the story. While there never really is a reason given for why Ultron goes mad, the story covers a lot of points including a love story. I feel that the story was really driven by the new characters, and not so much the old ones. SPOILER This is evident in Quicksilver's sacrifice. It really drove the end of the story, with Hawkeye's safe return to his family and Scalet Witch's triumph over Ultron and his army.
Another thing that was done better is the acting in general. Everyone really gave it their all, even Scarlett Johansson! (while she was still bad, it wasn't as bad as some of her other roles. *cough*lucy*cough*). Even though he had no physical screen time, James Spader stole the show. His portrayal of Ultron was amazing and down right demonic. Only James Spader could sincerely tell a man with no arm that he'll be all right!
The last thing I feel was better in this film was the comedy. Sure, the original Avengers had its moments, but this one really hit its stride. In between the action and character development there were a lot of jokes. My favorite line from the whole film has to be "If you get killed, walk it off."
As I just stated this film contains a huge amount of character development. We get to see into the world of the characters and the film really benefits from it. In the last film it was just "look over here! All your favorite characters in one film! Watch Hulk punch Thor!" but in this film it goes way deeper.
Other than the fact that there's no post-credit scene (boo!!!!!!!!) I don't think this film has any downfalls. It has the perfect balance of action and character development, the writers really hit the mark. I think this film has set a new standard for super hero films, and it will be incredibly hard to top. Overall, it was a really great film and I would recommend it to everyone.

For those of you who can't wait to see the film, below is an outline of the plot,
Plot - WARNING: SPOILERS
THIS SECTION CONTAINS A DETAILED OUTLINE OF THE FILM. IF YOU DO NOT WISH FOR THE FILM TO BE SPOILED PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS SECTION.
The film opens with earth's mightiest heroes ransacking a Hydra fortress in an attempt to steal back Loki's scepter. While The Avengers try to break into the fortress, Baron Von Strucker is advised to let Hydra's new experiments onto the battlefield. Strucker refuses, however the Maximoff twins leave anyway. Quicksilver has some fun with Captain America, while Scarlet Witch stays behind to guard the scepter.
Iron Man manages to get into the fortress (with a little help from the Iron Legion) and immediately starts looking for the scepter. While he tries to locate it, he downloads all of Hydra's secrets onto a USB-like device. Tony eventually finds the scepter, but before he can steal it Scarlet Witch pulls some sort of mind trick and convinces Tony that all the Avengers died because of him. He does break free and steals the scepter, much to Quicksilver's dismay.
As Tony is leaving the compound, the rest of the Avengers arrive. Scarlet Witch and Captain America have a small fight, but eventually everyone escapes. Black Widow calms down The Hulk and earth's mightiest heroes board the Quinjet.
The Avengers return to the tower in New York City and begin debriefing. Thor gives Tony and Bruce 3 days to study the scepter before he has to take it back to Asgard. While they conduct their studies, Tony downloads all the information from Hydra into his computers and discovers an anomaly. Tony discovers a peace-keeping program which he decides will bring "peace on earth." He tells Bruce of his plans to create "Ultron," but he immediately tells him that it's a bad idea. Tony ignores Bruce and sets out to recode the program for his own purposes.
Tony instructs Jarvis to let him know when the Ultron program is finished, but Jarvis says it will take a long time because of the encryption. Tony joins the rest of the Avengers for a house party, in which the Black Widdow/Bruce Banner love sub-plot is introduced. Stan Lee also has his cameo in this scene; Thor is drinking an Asgardian concoction that he claims has been aged for a thousand years and no mortal could withstand it. Stan Lee immediately disagrees and demands a drink. Thor reluctantly gives in and pours Stan the Man some. After one sip Stan stumbles away in a drunken stupor, mumbling "excelsior" to himself.
During the party, Jarvis finishes decoding the Ultron program and it gains sentience. Ultron immediately begins his mission of peace on earth, and researches humanity as a whole, eventually deciding that the greatest threat to humanity is itself. Ultron disables Jarvis and builds himself a body out of spare Iron Legion parts. He then crashes the Avenger's drinking games and begins to monologue about his duty. Ultron activates the Iron Legion and steals Loki's scepter, causing Thor to destroy him in a rage. Ultron uploads his program to the Internet and escapes.
The Avengers frantically try to locate Ultron, the Iron Legion and the sceptor, but there's not trace anywhere. Ultron has stolen what's left of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files and run off with them. Ultron constructs himself a new body and an army. He decides that the Avengers must be destroyed if his plan is to succeed, so he enlists the help of the Maximoff twins to help him do so.
Now, I'm can't remember exactly what happens here, but this is the gist. Ultron needs Vibranium for his evil plan, he steals some, Avengers show up to stop him, Scarlet Witch brainwashes half the Avengers, Iron Man fights Ultron, Ultron escapes.
After Ultron escapes, the twins continue their mission to destroy the Avengers. Scarlet Witch brainwashes the Hulk, and sets him free on the nearby city. Iron Man plays hero and dons the Hulkbuster armor. The Hulk and Iron Man get in a heated fight that goes on for a while, but eventually Iron Man prevails. The battered Avengers board the Quinjet and leave for the one place they know Ultron won't find them.
The Avengers arrive at the safe house, Hawkeye's farm. Here it is revealed that Hawkeye has a wife and children. The Avengers stay with them until Ultron shows himself again.
Meanwhile, Ultron is busy doing evil stuff. He uses an organic matter creator to create a cyborg. He powers it using the infinity stone that was concealed in Loki's scepter to power his creation. Ultron plugs himself into it and begins to download his memory into the cyborg. Scarlet Witch seases the opportunity and reads the cyborgs mind. She discovers that she and her brother are being used by Ultron as pawns.
