6528 Sand Storm Racer is a Town set released in 1989 as part of the Race line. The set includes 33 pieces that build up a sand storm race car and a minifigure.
Description[edit | edit source]
- Racer
The sand storm race car is the main part of the set. This has four wheels, two big ones at the back, and two smaller ones at the front. In between the two wheels, there is a seat for the minifigure and a blue steering wheel. There is also a blue windshield, although there is no glass in it. Behind where the minifigure sits, there is an engine is positioned above a wheel guard above the rear wheel. On top of the engine there are two exhaust pipes.

- The set is one of the first to have wheel suspensions, and the boxart clearly tries to stress it out.
