7152 TIE Advanced & Y-Wing was released in 2002 as part of the Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope line. It is a re-release of the 1999 set, 7150. It was re-released again, just two years after the first as the set 7262. The set itself contains a TIE Advanced with a Darth Vader minifigure and a Y-Wing Starfighter with Dutch Vander and Astromech Droid minifigures.

Description[edit | edit source]

The Y-Wing's main colour scheme is white, black and yellow. The cockpit area is made out of some sloping bricks on the sides. A yellow platform of pieces make the layer above that, and then some white flat bricks on top of those. There is a rotating gun above the cockpit. Behind the cockpit is a place for the astromech to fit in. On each side of the cockpit, slightly back, are two engines, made from circular bricks. Four technic pieces make up the back of the engines.

The TIE Fighter is made from black and blue pieces. There is a circular transparent cockpit glass to see out of. The cockpit is shaped like a ball, with two stalks coming out from either side. Onto these stalks are connected two wings, each one sloping in at the top and bottom.

LEGO.com Description[edit | edit source]

Red2x2.png This is a description taken from LEGO.com. Please do not modify it. It's a battle between good and evil!

Take to the skies with the two most popular ships of the Rebel and Imperial forces. The Y-Wing fighter bomber, armed with two turning ion cannons and forward-mounted laser cannons, is flown by a brave Rebel pilot and droid navigator. Darth Vader, with his lightsaber in hand, is in the control pod of his TIE fighter (which stands for Twin Ion Engine). When they meet in the skies, you decide who wins!
