7599 Garbage Truck Getaway is a Toy Story 3 set released on May 1 of 2010. The set reenacts a scene from Toy Story 3.

Description[edit | edit source]

It includes a garbage truck with a dumpster lifter to dump the contents of dumpster automatically into the back, opening roof and back of the truck. It includes Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Lotso and Twitch minifigures. This is a limited edition and exclusive set. All of the minifigures of the set (with the exception of Twitch) have unique dirt markings. Twitch and the dirt variation of Jessie and Buzz Lightyear are exclusive in this set.

Background[edit | edit source]

Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Hamm, and Rex almost escaped Sunnyside when Lotso caught up with them. They argued until Woody brought up the topic of Lotso's former owner,Daisy, whom he had been told about by a clown who was also owned by her. Proving that their owner still loved Lotso, the third toy owned by her and lost, Big Baby, who was also Lotso's right-hand man, threw him into the dumpster. Because Lotso was gone, Ken became the new "ruler" of the area. He decided to change how things worked and allowed Woody and his friends escape. However, while crossing the dumpster, one of the three Aliens got stuck. Woody ran back to save them, but while lifting the roof of the dumpster Lotso pulled him in. Because his friends wouldn't leave him behind, they too jumped onto the trash can and were also dumped into the Garbage Truck.

In the United Kingdom and Sweden it was a Toys Я Us exclusive.
In the film, all the toys were in the truck (excluding Twitch). However, this set contains only Buzz, Jessie, Lotso, and Twitch.
