The set 8036 Separatist Shuttle was released in August 2009 as part of the third wave of The Clone Wars line. Included are two Battle Droids, a Pilot Battle Droid, Onaconda Farr and Nute Gunray minifigures.
The set depicts a Separatist shuttle with its noticeable dorsal fin, and has a grey and blue Confederacy-styled colour scheme. The set has a cockpit area at the front which can seat one droid, and the opaque viewport can be flipped up. Three lights transparent blue lights are positioned At the back of the ship is a small seat which can hold one minifigure that can be taken out of the craft. The seat is sealed into the ship by a door, which is controlled by a mechanism using TECHNIC pieces, where turning a gear will move the door. The shuttle has four landing struts, two on each side, which can be deployed. The set includes five minifigures- Onaconda Farr who is exclusive to this set, Nute Gunray, a Pilot Battle Droid, and two standard Battle Droids.
The Sheathipede-class transport shuttle was a ship used by high-ranking Trade Federation members for transport to other planets. These shuttles were known to often have their cockpits replaced with automated pilots. Nute Gunray owned one of these shuttles, named the Lapiz Cutter, which was not outfitted with any weapons, but had strong deflector shields in place.
