9486 Oil Rig Escape is a Cars set that was released in late 2011. It features a flick fire missile, a working winch, a spinning flame, Finn McMissile with his flick fire missile and water skis, an orange Grem with a flick fire missile and flame thrower, and angry Professor Zündapp. The oil rig's sections are also re-arrangeable.

- Leland Turbo, the crane, and Grem and Finn's variations are exclusive to the set.
- Although credited as Grem, the orange car bears greater resemblance to Rod "Torque" Redline in his lemon disguise or even Victor Hugo, head of the Hugo family. Grem is better represented in the smaller set, 8638 Spy Jet Escape, and the promo set, Grem.
