  • Nomination comments: So I worked on this article recently, wanting to attempt to get a limited-edition to C1. It's filled out to MoS standard well as I believe, took on the advice I got from my previous nomination and besides the themes article itself, I thought it would be nice to get a Power Miners set to C1. ;)

Vote score: +2, Technical Check: Currently OK[edit source]

  • Isn't this the set with a big fight about the minifigures included? (shop description says 2 power miners and 1 engineer, but some say it's two Dukes and a Rex?) The background seems a little empty, which is fine for unlicensed themes, but didn't Power Miners have some sort of story to it? NovaHawk 11:07, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
This wasn't featured in the comics as far as I remember. Berrybrick 14:21, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
Per BB. Limed-edition sets don't often have much to do with the story. User:Cligra/Sig
I have a lot of the Power Miners comics and the sets background story wasn't featured in any of them. That's why I only basically wrote for a background was that the Power Miners used this as a a ground base in their expedition. And NBS you are right, this set confuses a lot of Power Miners fans about having two Dukes minifigures included. Technically it is two variations of Dukes, Rex and Geolix. However, some Power Miners fans coined the second variation as "the Engineer" which is why there was some confusion made. I think LEGO.com just said an Engineer and 2 Power Miners to avoid confusion. -User:Power Jim/sigcode 23:50, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
