From a Japanese LEGO catalog, that is. We still have no LEGO equivalent to Baby Alive.

The six minifigures are the Space Miner, Wizard, Dino Tracker, Battle Goddess, Swashbuckler, and Video Game Guy. As you can see, some of them have implemented new techniques for short sleeves, as the previous The Simpsons series did. For more details on Series 12, see here or here.

What do you think? Did you have any expectations to begin with? If so, do they meet them?

The miner looks like a work in progress fig. Nothing on the figure matches.

I love them all, the Wizard and Video Gamer turned out better than I expected them to be (is that a NES controller he's holding?) and that Space Miner's helmet looks interesting. Great to see minifigures back on track.

(and in case anyone's wondering, there's nothing new/interesting in the text, unless you count the list of minifigures that we already had from the Hungarian shop site [some people didn't believe they were true, but I think having image of six of them would stop them thinking that anyway])

I can see the gamer's hair piece being useful. I also like that the dino hunter and the gamer also have arm printing— is that new in the Minifigures theme? I can't recall any figures so far that have had arm printing.

The mime had arm printing and the more-recent biker, but it's still moderately rare.

I don't think I've ever seen arm printing on the front of the arm before

Either I am missing something, or nobody noticed that about half of The Simpsons minifigures had two colors molded (molded, not printed :P) on their arms.

@NovaFlare: Boba Fett was the first to my knowledge, specifically his variant from 10123 Cloud City. It was the first minifigure I had with printed arms at least (I think). Since then there have been many more though.

@Meiko: yeah, I've seen printing like that before, just not around the whole arm like that. @Berrybrick: yes, I didn't notice that at all, because apart from uploading the Simpsons CMF images with CJC one time when they came out and we were the only people on, I haven't looked at them since. Acutally I was hardly looking at them when I was uploading them :P That's great news though, I'd be interested to see how this is used in the future. Just noticed the Dino Hunter has side leg printing :O I know it's been done before, but it's rare

The Space Miner looks to have some nice pieces, though he looks pretty top-heavy. I'm really disappointed with the Dino Tracker; it should've had a dino or something. Nothing's unique about this minifigure except for the side-pockets on the pants. :( The others look pretty cool; I'll probably be getting a moderate amount of minifigures from this series.

I'm really liking these six. Especially the Gamer and Space Miner, although the Space Miner could have been way better than that.

The wizard is better than anything I could expect. I'm getting him. The others are good, but I'm totally getting the wizard.

The Battle Goddess is easily my favorite. She is a gorgeous figure and I need to get at least one to lead the three Amazons I have. (I bought 5 S10 packets and three were the same. :P) Her skirt is a little odd, but I think I can look past that.

The Wizard is also a pretty good figure, but not one that I particularly want. I wouldn't mind getting the Swashbuckler or Space Miner, but I'm sort of "meh" on them. Same with the Dino Tracker, but her new hairpiece is great, as are the sleeves, and I never got Hawkeye, so I could use the compound bow. The Gamer is too bland for me.
