The first teaser trailer for the upcoming video game, LEGO Marvel's Avengers, has been released. The trailer showcases the Battle of New York, as seen in the first Avengers film. Check it out below:

They should have updated Black Widow and Hawkeye. I don't like being reminded how bad those figures were.

I'm interested in seeing how they do this. By its nature, it probably won't be as expansive as the other Marvel game, or Beyond Gotham.

It is peculiar that they didn't update Black Widow and Hawkeye. Perhaps LEGO requested that they resemble the sets that they made for the movie? But it will look weird when they morph so drastically for the AoU levels. Particularly Hulk, actually; at least you could argue that Black Widow and Hawkeye got their hair restyled.

It seems to be based only on The Avengers (Assemble in UK) and the sequel. How will they fit in at least 15 levels in the game?

It does say "The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and more", so I'm hoping we get one or two levels from each of the standalone movies :S They'd have to do at least one Guardians of the Galaxy level since they're not in the Avengers films. And they might do one or two AoS and Agent Carter levels too?

Oh, right :P I think they said they were just showing off the Battle of New York for the teaser. When we get a real non-teaser trailer we'll hopefully get a better feel for the game. Maybe at E3 next week.
