'The Brick Fan' reports that 'KockaMánia.hu' has unveiled a list of the 16 minifigures which will be included in the next wave of Collectable Minifigures, following 71005 The Simpsons Series, which is on shelves in most of the world right now (just not my patch of dirt). Series 12, however, picks up the numbering where last year's Series 11 (featuring favorites such as the Lady Robot and Mountain Climber), meaning the series which tied-into The Simpsons episode "Brick Like Me" and The LEGO Movie did not count as 13 and 12, respectively, putting an end to heated debates all over Eurobricks. However, as we learned at Toy Fair earlier this year, Series 12 will be sold at the increased price that The Simpsons sport. That would be $3.99 in the US and Canada, £2.49 in the UK, 2.49 € in Germany, and $4.99 in Australia. However, they will feature a redeemable code for the upcoming LEGO Minifigures Online, a massive multiplayer online game.

The 16 "new" figures are as follows:

Which characters are you excited for, if any at all? Would you have preferred another licensed theme, like, say Winx Club? Or would you rather see the theme burn and die all together? Tell us below, if you dare.

These seem pretty cool. Space Miner, Dino Tracker, Princess, and Video Game Guy probably have me most excited, and the wizard could have a cool reskin. Oh, and I missed out on the last cheap way to get a Jester, so this'll be nice. :P And if it's female, cheap Harley Quinn custom! =D

On that note... while some of the gender-switch duplicates are welcome (see hypothetical jester situation above), a lot of these are just getting dumb. Male (I'm assuming) Lifegaurd and Genie Girl? Yeah, those are necessary.... And why so many rock stars? I guess I'll pick it up anyway if any new parts are good enough, but I do wonder how they'll spice it up.

Genie girl's one I'm really looking forward to, I'm hoping she'll be pink and have new colourful hair or a turban in a colour we haven't seen before. The video gamer did get me excited initally, but when I thought about it, I can't see him having any accessories :(

I assume Piggy Guy doesn't mean a fat kid with glasses but a guy in a pig costume. Anyway, I'm sure most of these are reskins or gender-swaps of past ones like the past series.

Aw. I was hoping we could at least get a rotting boar's head impaled on a stick. :(

After passing on The Simpsons series, and not exactly being hugely "wowed" by the TLM series as I felt the range of character were a bit tied down by the movie (by having three robots and four characters you could pretty much get from sets). So it'll be good to get back to an original series again (that said- I'm still desperately wanting Star Wars and/or Super Heroes series). The Battle Goddess sounds intersting, and on the whole, seems like it might be one of the better series. Can't wait to see pics now.

Same. There are a lot of repeats and City minifigures, but at least they are characters rather than positions that everyone takes for granted (like window washer or dog catcher). Battle Goddess is the only one that really grabs my attention though; Athena! :D Space Miner and Fairytale Princess could be interesting.

I probably wouldn't buy anything from a Star Wars series, but I wouldn't mind seeing it. I would hope they would draw from the EU though, despite...ya know. A Super Heroes series would be a good way to get my money. :P
