Brickipedia News:First wave 2017 Nexo Knights images

The first wave of 2017 Nexo Knights sets have been revealed- Swiss toy site babyjoe have posted images of all the main sets, while Hoth Bricks have provided shots of the Battle Suits and a retailer exclusive- 70359 Lance vs. Lightning.

Images are also up on babyjoe for Friends and Technic, which we'll be adding to the site soon. However, they can all be currently seen on Hoth Bricks or Brickset.

Most interesting! They look to be moving the villains in a more earth/lightning field, which makes me think of Ninjago foor some reason after the fiery theme of the previous waves..

Love the concept but unfortunately i must say the heroes vehicles are a bit disappointing this year..I really do miss the mecha horses, they were really nice builds.

On the other hand, the Battle Suits look great! Really clever timing too, as these would serve as the perfect successors to the beloved Mixels theme.

Some interesting molds...looks like there are a lot of new ones coming next year.

Those lightning pieces are pretty neat though, a good companion to the old flame, and then the Hero Factory energy piece mixed with purple is nice. The villain stuff is actually okay. A little haphazard, but okay.

I must say I like these Battle Suits a lot more than the Ultimate versions of the characters; might even be picking one up, even though I haven't got any other Nexo Knights set.

Loving those new lightning pieces :O

I've got to go for now, will get Friends/Technic/rest of City up when I can if noone else gets to it.
