LEGO Digital Designer, a computer program created by in 2004 which lets you design digital models, will no longer continue to be updated. The LEGO Group have announced that they have made a business decision to longer allocate resources to the initiative, and will pursue other digital experiences. The program will still be available for download, but any existing glitches will not be fixed and no new parts will be added in the future.

For the full statement, check out Brickset's article here.

Update (from The Brick Fan): It appears there's a bit of confusion surrounding this announcement, and that this isn't as bad as initial reports first seemed. Some pieces will still be added from time to time, but there will no longer be automatic updates to elements.
