Brickipedia News:LEGO Message Boards closing down

It has been announced that the LEGO Message Boards are being closed down. The subsite of LEGO.com, which went into Beta Testing in 1999 before opening in 2001, will be shut down in just two months on March 6, 2017. However, the site will go into read-only mode on February 28, meaning the last day you can post there will be on February 27. The full announcement is available here.

Not a huge surprise to me honestly. Reading some of the responses to the announcement on LEGO.com though... LOL
