LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, an animated Star Wars series that began in 2016, has been nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards:

  • Outstanding Children’s Animated Program
  • Outstanding Music Direction and Composition
  • Outstanding Casting For An Animated Series Or Special
  • Outstanding Sound Editing Animation

The 13 episode series follows the Force-sensitive scavenger Rowan Freemaker and his family who end up getting dragged in to the war between the Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance. A second season is expected to be released sometime this year.

Only just seen this now, and it's probably already been announced whether they won or not but the series certainly deserves all the awards and praise it gets. Especially the music. ~~~~

Yeah it lost all four- they went to Lost in Oz/The Snowy Day/Trollhunters/Lost in Oz respectively (none of which I've ever heard of :P). Either way, it's got to be one of the best shows LEGO's made, looking forward to the season season :)

That's a great shame (never heard of those either), but I'm VERY excited for the second series! Hera! Chopper! The Rebellion! It's easily the best thing LEGO's ever done in my opinion, as they made the very wise decision to have it be serious and not over the top childish like Ninjago was (and probably still is, I haven't seen any of it since the first series back in 2011 or whenever). Aside from a few things it's easy to just look beyond the LEGO aesthetics as it's just a great Star Wars series!
