Last month, a Danish startup company appeared with an interesting goal: to bring back Modulex. Modulex Bricks A/S is a company that has gotten the original moulds to the LEGO Modulex pieces and plans to reproduce them for the first time in decades. To those who don't know (I hope those of you will read our article on Modulex), Modulex was originally released in the 1960s as a tool that could be used by architects to produce small scale mock-ups of their projects. Modulex used perfectly square dimensions as opposed to standard LEGO bricks where the height and width are different dimensions.

The new Modulex Bricks are not yet available for purchase, however you can follow them on Twitter and Facebook to stay up to date.

Huh. That's interesting. I've always wanted to get my hands on some of those things.
