<Insert pithy comment about news here>

  • "Doesn't this happen twice a year?" Story of the week: New tallest LEGO tower is 114 feet and in Budapest. Not sure what that is in useful (scientific) units though. USA Today
  • DATA OVERLOAD!: A story contest for under 12s in the UK has revealed that "lego" was the commercial term used the most (2028 times), with Emmet being more popular than ever (because honestly, who is called Emmet? Answer: 12 people used it last year, 464 this.) Batman was popular, apparently due to the Movie as well. This is important if you care about things like "brand awareness amongst target audiences" or "the corruption of our children". Business Week
  • Documentary news Live In Taiwan? or France? or Germany? or Malaysia? or Hong Kong? or China? or Brazil? Then Radius are distributing that LEGO documentary for you. So yay. Variety
  • Summer camp!: LEGO Girl's Club Animation Studio in July. I hear Cligra is going. Daily Freeman
  • Jobs: Here is one.
  • Promotion that you can only access if you have a time machine: As of press, this promotion at the Staffordshire County Show is over, BUT if you are reading this in Stafford or Stoke-on-Trent on the 28th or 29th, then:
    1. How are you reading this?
    2. Go to the show, buy a "goody bag" for a £1 and get two newspapers and a magazine, a pack of crisps, a bottle of pop and also some LEGO.
    3. Mexico beats Israel 3-0
  • Promotion that doesn't require a time machine: It does require you to live in Grimsby though. If so, well, first I'm sorry. Secondly, on the 30th, go to Victoria Street and buy the Grimsby Telegraph...you know, I'm fed up of every local newspaper that the Daily Mail owns having promotions to get rid of the sets they couldn't shift two years ago in a desperate attempt to stay relevant. Brickfanatics
  • NANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANA BATMAN. IN SPACE: LEGO Batman 3: With a Vengeance is being released and if you want to actually know something about it (like the real title), read Berrybrick's article here.
  • BREAKING! A Batman set is coming sometime because Batman is now 75. Just what every 75 year old wants. It was announced on ReBrick, which is apparently a thing? ReBrick
  • Hyper-local news story of the week! York Castle Museum to reveal LEGO castle building contest winner. I'll get you updated on who won next week. York Press

  • Congratulations, you've got to the end of this article without beating your head against the desk in frustration. More rubbish being spout next week.

"LEGO Batman 3D"? "LEGO Batman 3: The Revenge"? "LEGO Batman Forever"? "The LEGO Batman Ultimatum"? "The LEGO Batman Revolutions"? "The LEGO Batman Rises?" "LEGO Batman 3: Return of the King"?

Tell me I'm close.

One of your funniest News Roundups. XP And that Batman set sounds interesting... hope it's Wayne Manor, though that's in no way speculation; it's almost surely something else.

Maybe the Batman set is that UCS Tumbler that people have been spreading rumors/speculation about?

I'm hoping it is the '66 Batmobile, if it has to be some piece of Bat-memorabilia.
