The Technology Centre is a building in the game Crystalien Conflict used by the humans. It is the second-to-last building that can be constructed.
Description[edit | edit source]
The technology centre is set on a square base. It has a white frame that rises up in the back. In the middle are six transparent orange screens, three on each side, curved inward, protecting the controls within. An orange tube runs from the area inside the screens to a section just outside. On top of the white frame is a seat with a single astronaut inside.
Qualities[edit | edit source]
The technology centre can be built only after a power plant, training camp, radar station and vehicle factory have been constructed. Once built, jetpack astronauts can be spawned. It also enables the creation of the satellite uplink.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The tech centre's Alien counterpart is the experiment lab.
- Although a prerequisite to the spawning of jetpack explorers, it has been noted that destroying an enemy's technology centre (or Alien equivalent) does not prevent them from spawning that type of infantry unit. In order to halt an enemy's production of jetpack explorers or viper attacks, you must also destroy the training camp or breeding pit, respectively.
