Green Light is a DC comics character, and a resident of Earth-30.
Background
After famed Air Force pilot Hal Jordan went through four years tortured by communist forces, President Alexander Luthor elected Jordan to be the head of the Green Lantern Marine Corps, which is supposed to aid in the feud between the USSR and the USA.
