The Hulk is a MARVEL comics character.
Background
Scientist Bruce Banner became the Hulk when the military was testing a gamma bomb. From the safe zone, Banner could see a young teenage boy drive into the site in his car by accident. Banner rushed out to save him and pushed him to safety just as the bomb exploded. Banner's body got flooded with gamma radiation. He found out that the boy's name was Rick Jones. Together, they realized that when ever Banner becomes angry, the gamma radiation in his body will trigger, causing him to turn into a massive, green-skinned brute. With super strength, speed, and stamina, he tried to use his power for good after he tried over and over to undo the damage. He has since tried to find a cure, but fate has bound him like this. His destructive and angry nature has caused many confrontations with other heroes including Spider-Man. He has joined and left the Avengers multiple times.
