Xiron the Scavenger is a custom BIONICLE character designed by Bug. He is somehow affiliated with the Earth element, characterized by his sharp digits and color scheme. He is currently a Dark Hunter.
Background
It is believed that Xiron joined the Dark Hunters shortly before the reformation of Spherus Magna, though the specifics are not known. He made a name for himself by taking weaponry from vanquished foes despite quality, almost ritualistically. Notable examples of this include his sword, spear and the Bohrok head he's been known to use as a shield.
Notes
- Everything in Xiron's arsenal is either found or taken from a slain enemy.
- The carcass is still attached to the sword because Xiron thinks of it as a trophy. The same reasoning can be applied to the Bohrok head he carries around.
Designer's notes
- This is built in a similar style to Pyro and Ultimatrum, though I think this MOC is a vast improvement.
- Joints from the Mixels theme are useful for articulated wrists.
- I went on a BIONICLE MOC-making hiatus for a while. This is the first complete (or at least notable) one since.
- This MOC may not be as stable as it appears. I'd test it out in reality, but I doubt I have all of the necessary parts.
- I went through several color schemes, but I thought black and grey was the most fitting.
- The carcass was meant to be a separate MOC, but I didn't feel like finishing it.
