Forum:Customs MoS

From Brickipedia, the LEGO Wiki

I’d just like to propose a Manual of Style for the Customs articles.

Customs MoS:
Custom articles must have the following:

They must be structured in this order:

  1. Infobox
  2. A basic sentence explaining what the custom is and who made it.
  3. Background/Description, if both are used background goes first. (optional)
  4. Designers Notes (optional)
  5. A gallery
  6. Users Customs template (optional)

So what do you think? Suggest any improvements, anything I missed. Clone gunner commander jedi talk

Discussion[edit source]

Looks good. I would just tweak the wording a bit: "A basic sentence explaining what the custom is and who made it." could be changed to "An overview explaining what the custom is and who made it." I would also suggest the description comes before the background. Jeyo Lord VladekTalk The Forge 17:16, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

Basically per Jeyo. User:Cligra/Sig

I don't think that the user's name has to be in the article itself since it will be in the infobox. Berrybrick 18:51, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

I agree. The username in the infobox should be enough. Jeyo Lord VladekTalk The Forge 01:50, December 12, 2012 (UTC)
