Michael Raider was a character from the original Pirates line appearing exclusively in German radio dramas.
Background[edit | edit source]
Michael and his brother Ben were abducted by Scarred Johnny. Ben was able to escape by jumping overboard and was rescued by Captain Redbeard's crew, but Michael was subjected to intensive labour. They were reunited when a storm and an air pocket brought the Dark Shark together with Michael's hijacked dinghy and Thu and Kotu's boat. They then assisted the Islanders in defending the misty islands from Johnny.[1]
