Onewa is a BIONICLE character introduced in 2001 as the Turaga of Po-Koro. Following a plot twist at the end of the 2003-arc, it was revealed that before Onewa transformed into a Turaga, he was a Toa of Stone in the city of Metru Nui and part of a team comprised of five other heroes who would become the Turaga of Mata Nui.
