Senate Commandos were an elite unit of guards that protected the Senate. They have appeared in three sets. In the newest set including Senate Commandoes, 8128 Cad Bane's Speeder, they introduced the new Senate Commando Captain.
Description[edit | edit source]
Senate Commandos wore blue armour, similar to that of Clone Troopers, and carried blaster rifles. Their helmet has a ridge on it.
Background[edit | edit source]
Senate Commandos were a part of a group of expert guards given the task of being Chancellor Palpatine's personal body guards during the Clone Wars. They were non-clones specifically trained to protect Senators and diplomats including Chancellor Palpatine.
