So, last week I was in town and got for about £1.20, and got a pack of tissues, a newspaper, a dinosaur puzzle and some weird toy apparently known as LEGO. So lets review.
These are "Sofcell Large Tissues", a brand I've never heard of before. The box is black. It has tissues in. 75 of them, and 2ply! In this box is 5.11 square metres of tissue. They work like tissues, and are probably worth £1.00 or so on their own.
- Bath Chronicle - Thursday 15 January Edition
So, this is like any local newspaper - filled with a mixture of dull and uninteresting local stories such as "Footbridge refurb ends". The lead story is a double-spread on social housing, which comes awfully close to resembling journalism. Perhaps the most interesting thing is that on the 2nd of February, Sherlock will be filming in the city, which tells you all you need to know about how exciting life is here. Somehow it lasts 80 pages. Also included is an at least 100 page classifieds, public notices (the council have temporarily closed footpath BRCIV/2), estate agents and motoring pull-out, and a glossy fashion magazine, so all-in-all, about a tree or so.
- Dinosaurs Uncovered
I got the Brachiosaurus, which is literally no-ones favourite dinosaur. After spending three minutes trying to undo the packaging. There are 29 wooden pieces, and a piece of sandpaper, which is nice of them. What isn't nice is the lack of instructions. My results are below.
So, we get to the aptly named "Little Car" - which is indeed both little and a car. The build is simple as you'd expect (14 steps), and the model is quite nice for what it is - I like the way the license plate and rear lights are done, although the front windscreen leaves something to desire, and for some reason it lacks a front number plate. Also, there are a few odd parts, of the one stud kind.

For £1.20, its great value, if not just for the inevitable disappoint you got because, after all this time, I finally reviewed something and spent as much time talking about tissues as LEGO.
