Robin

• I'm confused (are you surpised? :P). We have a page called Robin, which as far as I can tell, is about at least two different people, yet only has a background on one (Tim Drake). But we also have a page for Damian Wayne (Robin (Damian Wayne)). I was just wondering if we should either merge all the Robins together, or split them all apart (which I think would be better- they're different people, and having a separate Nightwing should be ok, we have separate pages for Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker). However, do we know who the guys in the original Batman theme are, and who the guy in the Juniors set is? As far as I can tell, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd had the same uniform... • Anything with an & sign didn't properly import, I'm guessing because the %26 was what the bot tried to import instead of an &. Final Stand

• This is just a last-ditch effort to get some editing going here- I was thinking we could get together a small group of the "old crowd" who did some content expansion (like you, me and Cligra), and we could just take down a small theme or a wave in a larger theme, getting the related sets and minifigures to c2 status. And then see if anyone joins in. Kind of like a BrickiProject, but one where we don't have a million people signing up then disappearing and one person (at best) actually doing some work. Anyway, let me know if you're interested, and if so, what theme or wave you wanted to target, I was thinking Alien Conquest or Monster Fighters, but I don't know too much about Monster Fighters... Best way for 5 friends

I just remembered you asked me this ages ago. Andrea-Mountain Hut(comes with the squirrel you want, and it's only 10) though you might want the hot air balloon, Stephanie-Beach House amazing ammount of cool lemon, but I think you'll want the 10$ pizzeria next year. I think Olivia should be the camper van, as it's a great build, and has kitchen accessories and it seems to be discounted in most shops. Though you might just want to get the ice cream one if you don't have the ice cream machine. You have karate Emma so I'd suggest the sports car, if you want a regular one. Okay I'll go from right to left. I like the inclusion of El Diablo as he's on the team to redeem himself. I don't like the look of any incarnation of his character but oh well. Killer Croc is obviously just here to replace King Shark, but he looks fine. I like Deadshot too, he looks like he means business. I don't mind Harley's too much :P I like her twin dipped pigtails, they could've easily avoided this. She's very covered up at the top, I love her shirt. The shorts are too short, a inch more would be fine though :P. like the idea she drew tattoos on her legs to copy Joker (that's why there upside down). I love the choice of a baseball bat for her weapon as it seems more realistic than a hammer. It annoys me that Rick. Flagg isn't wearing yellow, a dark shade of it would've brought colour to the theme. Katana is thrown here for no reason besides to appeal the the Asian market. She looks fine I guess. Enchantress looks awful she looks like an Egyptian sci-fi movie reject. Why doesn't Captain Boomerang have a boomerang? I picked up LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Character Encyclopedia earlier today, and I just flicked through to the Jokerland Robin page. It's titled:

Robin
Teen Titan

and the start of one of the paragraphs reads "Based on his Teen Titans costume, ...". So I think it's safe to say it is Teen Titans. Or maybe it just means Robin as a Teen Titan? (the paragraph didn't italicise). In which case we could call the variant "Teen Titan", which could cover Titans and Titans Go! anyway. Mostly right, but there are a few details you might like:

Dick Grasyson: Robin -> blue Nightwing -> Batman -> red Nightwing -> Agent Grayson -> blue Nightwing

Jason Todd: Robin -> Dead -> Red Hood -> Batman and Nightwing imposter -> evilish Red Hood -> good Red Hood

Tim Drake: Robin -> not Robin (Stephanie Brown is for a short time here) -> Robin -> Red Robin; there is also a weird alternate future of an alternate future where he is Batman Beyond, but that's really confusing so don't think about it :P

Stephanie Brown: Spoiler -> Robin -> Spoiler -> Dead -> Spoiler -> Batgirl -> RETCONNED FROM EXISTENCE -> Spoiler

Damian Wayne: Robin -> dead -> Robin

Rebirth isn't a full on reboot like the New 52 was. I'm not sure what the changes are exactly, but they are restoring a lot of the legacy which the New 52 got rid of; things like Green Arrow and Black Canary getting back together, Huntress on the Birds of Prey, Ted Kord's time as a Blue Beetle is restored (and it looks like he is resurrected), a team of Titans with Nightwing, Donna Troy, Arsenal, and Tempest; stuff like that, and a few small things have been "fixed" like Nightwing's color scheme and Green Arrow's beard. They are also trying a few new things like making Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz the Green Lanterns of Earth, while I think the rest of the Corps has been disbanded by Sinestro, or something, and there are some new Superman characters but overall it is pretty safe. I don't know how much continuity is changing, but things like Wonder Woman as Zeus's daughter seem to remain intact. The biggest difference with continuity is probably that it looks like the New 52 Superman is getting killed off so he can be replaced by the Pre-52 version who is married to Lois and has a son conveniently about Damian's age. Other changes are that all comics are being reduced to a 2.99 USD price and some are shipping twice a month. Does that help? :P Berrybrick (talk) 20:20, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

Does he have a different costume or anything? And Damian Wayne's alive again, makes sense I guess since it's weird not having a Robin. Stephanie Brown looks waaay to confusing to ask about, but I can just follow the nice convenient line you left and accept it happened. She still does count as the fourth Robin though right? • Well, one of the Supermans is dead, but there are two Lois Lanes running around. :P Roughly the time when the Batman logo appeared on Red Hood's shirt (the start of the New 52) is when he stopped being a villain or true anti-hero and became an "anti-hero". Stephanie doesn't count as a Robin (or Batgirl, or someone who died) in the New 52 continuity, but it happened in the Post-Crisis (1986-2011) canon. So it was canon (and I guess is still for that particular continuity) but I'm sure that's all very confusing. :P Berrybrick (talk) 14:12, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Customs

• Hey, I'm working on a temporary "guide" thing to what's changed with customs pages/template/cats but still haven't got around to finishing it. But just in case you make any customs, here's a quick rundown to the changes that might be relevant for you-
  • The creator parameter in infoboxes- just write your name, no {{u}} template. You might notice some problems otherwise. This is so user categories happen automatically, eg Category:Customs by Berrybrick. If it's a collaboration, you can use |Creator2= and |Creator3= for other people.
  • Cat structure: Sets:
    • Something from Category:Customs by build type, eg, Category:Customs built using LEGO Digital Designer (haven't made all these subcats yet, feel free to make more build types if you need them).
    • Something from Category:Custom sets by type of LEGO, eg, Category:System customs.
    • Something from Category:Custom sets by theme, eg, Category:Custom DC Comics Super Heroes sets.
    • User category (autocat).
  • Minifigs:
    • Something from Category:Customs by build type, eg, Category:Customs built using LEGO Digital Designer.
    • Something from Category:Custom figures, eg, Category:Custom DC Comics Super Heroes figures.
    • User category (autocat).

The rest of the stuff I'm working on doesn't really affect you (how to make a page [made some changes to createpage for this] and will work on some preloader boxes in the fan namespace when I can, but you know how to use them if you need them :P). Set backgrounds

So now that I'm off school, I'm back to editing. Which means I have to start writing some FA's, which involves set backgrounds. Now for 41067 Belle's Enchanted Castle, do I just talk about the events that happen in the film or only things you can do with the set? • I'm guessing you have some clue as to what's going on at Comic-Con, I always have a hard time keeping track of it- just want to make sure do you know about any stuff that I should? :P

8755 Keetongu was released as a set in 2005. He included a bright red Rhotuka spinner. A lock on his chest armour allowed one to open his chest cavity and fire a Rhotuka spinner as in the story. His whirling shields could be spun with an axle on his right arm, and their area increased as they spun and decreased when they again became still. The Keetongu set contained 201 pieces which could be combined with the pieces of Roodaka to create The Shadowed One set, with the pieces of Sidorak to create the Sentrakh set, or with the pieces of both Sidorak and Roodaka to create the Voporak set.

So I'm putting this here as you weren't on chat yesterday and I'm worried I'll forget it today. A Question (Perhaps at a bad time)

Hello Berry,
So...the site has been fairly barren for the past month, aside from the few housekeeping/news edits, yet I have a question. I admit that this has been in the making since January and if reluctance of inactivity scared me then, now seems to be most inappropriate. But, alas, considering that you are mentioned on this [5] page, regardless of the probable answer, are you able to give a definitive answer on whether we have any new sets up for review? (I apologize in advance for the petty tone; I just wanted to get it off my chest and determine whether I should buy what I would like to review before it is too late).

Robin

• Hey, any idea which Robin the DUPLO figure in 10842 should link to? It kinda looks like Robin (Dick Grayson) in 76034, but I'm no expert NovaHawk 03:10, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

• Er, good question. My first thought was Damian because of the green gloves and haircut, but I think that version of Dick matches better with the green pants. I guess put him there, but maybe add a note that it is indeterminate? I doubt that the designer had a specific version of a character in mind; they probably just chose rather generic costume elements that fit with the DUPLO aesthetic. • Now you mention Damian, I checked his page again and his LEGO Batman 2 character seems pretty close (dual-moulded legs on DUPLO seems pretty unlikely so the green legs would match. Also this version at least has a yellow cape on one side). Re: Autopatrolling

Hi Berry! That's weird, that's not supposed to happen. People in the user group don't have the autopatrol permission, and those edits aren't appearing in Special:Log/patrol (besides the log action where Vasko marked Mister3d's file upload as patrolled). I'll look into this, thanks :)

• Hey, so since SDCC2017 Vixen has a big "Legends" on the front of the packaging, this Vixen has to be Amaya Jiwe not Mari McCabe so I've split the page up (Mari's appeared as a separate character in Arrow as Amaya's granddaughter- Amaya was only created when Mari's actress couldn't appear on Legends). At the moment I've got a disambig and have Vixen (Mari McCabe) and Vixen (Amaya Jiwe) - do you think that's the right way to do it? Usually the physical minifig takes priority over the VG exclusive, but I don't think we've had a case where the main version of the character (Mari) hasn't had a physical fig but the minor one (Amaya) has?   • Hey, I replied to you in my head when I wasn't near a computer, but I just realised that wasn't the same as actually typing a message and hitting save :D I think it's a bit weird having two separate people on the same page, but then again I get so confused when I just want to go to a page about Robin, so I guess I'm ok about it either way?
