[List of appearances]

Mr. Zsasz is an enemy of Batman. He is a mass murderer who cuts himself with his knife for every person he has killed. He has many tally marks on his body which proves his previous crimes. He appears only in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Batman: The Videogame and the portable versions of LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.

Description[edit | edit source]

In his first appearance, Zsasz had the standard male hairpiece at the time in yellow. He had white comic-book eyes, despite not wearing a mask, and a frown. He has a bare torso with black tally-mark scars spread over it. He carries a golden knife.

Zsasz reappears in LEGO Batman 2 with an updated, tousled hairpiece in tan. His face now features normal eyes, pointed eyebrows, and a malevolent grin. His torso is still bare and has been updated with a more recent design and still features the black tallies. His legs are white and he once again carries a knife, this time grey. He is able to use the stealth ability to bypass security cameras and enemies as well as grapple.

Background[edit | edit source]

Victor Zsasz was the head of his own international company and a large personal fortune in addition to his family's company. When he turned 25 years old, Victor turned to gambling. One night at a casino in Gotham City, he bet and lost everything he owned to The Penguin. Victor became angered and attempted to take his own life by jumping off a bridge when a homeless man assaulted him with a knife. Victor grabbed the knife, and saw meaningless in the man's eyes and decided that nothing and nobody matters. He then murdered the man and became a mass murderer bent on "liberating" others from their "pointless" existences, cutting a mark onto his body for every life he takes.

In the Video Games[edit | edit source]

In LEGO Batman: The Videogame, he can be unlocked by completing the fourth level of villain hunt. After you find him, you can purchase him for 400,000 studs. He is only available on the DS.

In the 3DS version of LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Mr. Zsasz appears as a boss in the fourth level, Arkham Asylum. He is defeated by hiding from him using Batman's Sensor Suit's cloak ability and attacking him when he reappears. Once defeated, he drops a security key which can be used to open a door and progress to the next room. His minikit can be found in Mr. Freeze's room on the same level. He costs 80,000 studs.
