The Bioncle 2 movie shows how the Toa save the Matoran. The six Matoran who turn into Toa, Whenua, Onewa, Vakama, Nokama, Matau and Nuju, imprison Makuta in protodermis. They save the matoran from being put to sleep, then being awakened again to sevre the Makuta. They meet two Dark Hunters, Nidhiki, and Krekka. The imprison Toa Likan and try to destroy the Toa metru. In the end, they save the matoran, and reawaken them by using theri Toa powers, and turning themselfs into Turaga.
