The Brick Separator is a special type of LEGO element. It is specially intended for use to take apart other bricks, instead of using one's teeth.

There have been three versions produced so far. One, which was produced in grey and later Forest Green, had a fat handle and studs on the top, plus a special form of tube on the bottom to take apart bricks. A newer version, which is orange, has an axle to take apart axle connections, and the studs and tubes are at the same angle, allowing the Brick Separator to also be used for MOCking.

It is for sale as a separate item through LEGO, but it has become commonly included in many advanced sets.
