Requests: Chat Moderator - Administrator - Bureaucrat - Patroller

Shortcut:
BP:RFB

This is Brickipedia's requests for bureaucrat page, on which any user may request bureaucrat rights. Bureaucrats have the technical ability to make other users administrators. All bureaucrats must already have passed a request for adminship, and be an administrator.

To file a request, place the following code under the "current requests" header, above any existing requests.

===replace this with your username===
{{Rfr/1|replace this with your username}}
Replace this with a brief blurb about why you are requesting bureaucratship here. ~~~~

Requests made on this page are a vote, meaning that if they achieve at least 80% support then they will be closed as successful. Opposers must provide reasons for opposing. All requests with unanimous support last for five days, but those with any opposing votes will last for a full two weeks.

If a user has been nominated for bureaucrat before, add 2 to the end of the topic header. For users with multiple requests, add the respective number of the request. It is also considered good practice to link to previous requests for rights when nominating a user.

There is an archive here for bureaucrat requests.

Hello fellow Brickipedians!

Today I'm taking a step forward in this community and requesting bureaucrat rights here. I do this because I feel like I am a valuable asset to this community and an active participant in all areas of the site. I have been a Brickipedian now for over a year and have had adminship for about 7 months. I am familiar with all Brickipedia policies and its community members, and have relevant experience as a bureaucrat at Meta and Customs. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below. Happy editing! --ToaMeiko (talk) 19:59, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Support

  1. Certainly someone I could trust with these rights. Good luck! -LFY1547 20:00, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
  2. Probably the person on the site with the most need for these, actually. -Cligra
  3. Per every support I've made on every prior RfR of Meiko. BrickfilmNut (talk) 20:35, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
  4. I guess like Berrybrick I have one or two reservations, but I'd say all Meiko's done for the site far outweighs any concerns I might have. NovaHawk 01:29, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
  5. Per NBS, and BFN. bbz 5ever --TheNightingale 04:02, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
  6. Vasko (talk) 09:11, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
  7. I was previously of the opinion that you where the absolute ruler of 'Media. --LK901100 AE - TLM RP 16:14, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
  8. ...I guess. I can't see a compelling reason to oppose (although the same could be said about supporting). CJC95 (talk) 23:03, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
  9. I have no reason to oppose, nor any reason to support to be honest, though I think Meiko is more than trustworthy to have bureaucrat rights. So, per CJC. SKP4472 (Admin) 15:19, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

Oppose

Neutral

  1. Honestly, I'm a little unimpressed with your behavior. Though you are generally friendly, I don't appreciate the way you occasionally use vulgar insults and chat has become a lot more "adult" with you around, though that probably cannot all be blamed on you, nor should it. I don't think that this is enough to oppose...so I'm not. Can't deny your outstanding service. Berrybrick (talk) 20:11, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Vulgar insults like what? Do note that if you have an issue with anything I say, the only way for me to know that is for you to tell me. --ToaMeiko (talk) 20:24, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Nothing too recent, but I do believe I have pointed them out to you. There was the time where you repeatedly called Kahuka a dick and vindicated it because "it's Wikipedia policy," the light use of a derogatory term like "retard" used as a casual insult, and I also do not appreciate the language you use to speak of people (who are usually not an active part of our community) negatively and so openly. I'm not sure if I've pointed that last one out before, but I am pretty sure I have brought the first two up and, no, I can't think of repeat offenses, but that's why I'm not opposing. Berrybrick (talk) 21:28, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Also chats never pretty when CM4S and Meiko are on together, I see the words: You're a dick at least once. "I can call him whatever I want on a public chat"(this was said like last month) Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg
CM4S has been on hundreds of times the same time I have, and there hasn't been a problem in months... I think the last time there was a problem was back before I even had administrator rights... --ToaMeiko (talk) 15:36, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
I did forget about the CM4S things, but ^ Berrybrick (talk) 16:16, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
You had a small clash last month, I call that a small problem. Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg
Not recalling that. Asked CM4S about it on Skype, he doesn't recall it either. --ToaMeiko (talk) 16:35, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
You were arguing over something, and called him a dick. I said you can't call him a dick on a public chat, and you said "I can call him whatever I want on a public chat" Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg
Whether he called anyone anything or not, I think the point is they were arguing :/ UltrasonicNXT (talk)
This doesn't ring a bell at all. And like CM4S said, he didn't recall it either. Are you sure you aren't remembering wrong? --ToaMeiko (talk) 18:41, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
Seems to be here. Make of it what you will. UltrasonicNXT (talk)
  2. Per above. I'm sorry, but if someone called me a va..., I'd be very upset. If a new user sees the words "you're a dick" on chat, they'll copy(or at least some would). With all your edits I might change to a support in the future, but not now. Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg
Like Berry said, it wasn't a repeat thing, therefore only happened on one occasion, and that was in regard to metawikimedia:Don't be a dick, which I may remind you that I'm not the first administrator to have brought that up on this wiki... --ToaMeiko (talk) 16:06, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
It's the first time I remember seeing it. I'm positive it at least hadn't been quoted when I was around.... Berrybrick (talk) 16:16, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
Per berry, I've never seen anyone use that before. Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg
Just because it's the title of a wikimedia page does not make it ok. UltrasonicNXT (talk)
http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/?diff=1504137 Not trying to make Ajr seem like he did something wrong, but I'm not the only person, let alone the only admin, to use the word. :/ --ToaMeiko (talk) 18:39, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
This proposal is about you, not Ajr. What he has done in the past is irrelevant. UltrasonicNXT (talk)
The point is you can't hold something against me as being wrong when it wasn't considered wrong of someone else to do it. That's what I'm saying. --ToaMeiko (talk) 21:20, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
I hadn't seen that Ajr incident until just now. I think it was wrong of him to do it. UltrasonicNXT (talk)
These are the two most hard-fought neutral votes I have ever seen. -Cligra
