Chim-Chim is an animal character from the Speed Racer theme.
Details
Though he's a chimpanzee in the movie, Chim-Chim is represented in LEGO by a standard monkey part. The Speed Racer theme predated the introduction of an actual chimpanzee part in 8805 Minifigures Series 5.
Background
Chim-Chim is the pet and best friend of Speed Racer's younger brother Spritle. Virtually inseperable, Spritle and Chim-Chim act the same, dress the same and even seem to think the same.
