'''Fluminox''' is a phoenix [[Legends of Chima]] minifigure released in summer 2014. He is the phoenix king and the father of [[Flinx]]. Fluminox has appeared occasionally in the third season of ''[[Legends of Chima: The Animated Series]]''.

Fluminox was born in the sun and descended to Chima with the other phoenix. Building a city atop the tallest mountain, they intended to enlighten the primitive tribes living below with their libraries and academies. However, they were more of a success than the phoenix anticipated, as one of their students, a Saber Tooth Tiger named [[Sir Fangar|Fangar]], gained so much knowledge that he felt all that was left for him to do was take over Chima. Fluminox and the other phoenix protected those who would not fight with him from his raids, but eventually, they used the Great Illumination to raise their mountain into the sky and cast Fangar and his allies into the Gorge of Eternal Depth.

The Phoenix hid themselves inside Cavora as the other animals evolved from the Chi and secretly watched over Chima for centuries.

After the Hunters were revived and escaped their imprisonment, Fluminox began sending visions of fire to [[Eris]], beckoning her to Mount Cavora. When she at last arrived at the mountain, Fluminox welcomed her with the Cat Guides, though disapproved of the eagle bringing ground-borns ([[Laval]] and [[Cragger]]) with her. Wasting no time, Fluminox proceeded to lead them to the map room, where he told of "The Story before the Great Story" before providing Eris with an orb of Fire Chi. At first he refused Cragger and Laval the orbs, but was persuaded by Tormak to allow them to take the trial by fire. The two heroes of Chima passed and Fluminox provided them with Fire Chi. Eris returned to Cavora seeking Fire Chi for the other tribes in order to push back the Hunters. Fluminox was at first hesitant, but Tormak suggested each tribe send one member to protect the Crescent from the Hunters, to which Fluminox agreed. They later boarded the ''Blazing Bastion'' and flew to the Crescent to find the heroes pinned down by the Hunters. [[Foltrax]] opened fire on the Hunters and soon they retreated. The outpost on the top of the crescent was revealed and the phoenix landed. Fluminox then stepped forth to congradulate the tribes on a job well done and presented them with Fire CHI before boarding the ''Blazing Bastion'' again and returning to Cavora. ("[[The Crescent]]")

The Chima hero's acts of bravery convinced Fluminox to entrust the care of his son [[Flinx]] to Laval and pulled them from the battle at the Fangs to do so. ("[[Fired Up!]]")
