Fluminox is the leader of the Phoenix Tribe in Legends of Chima.

Background
Fluminox descended to Chima with the other phoenix and helped build their city atop the highest mountain. It was there that they intended to enlighten the primitive tribes living below with their libraries and academies. However, they were more of a success than the phoenix anticipated, as one of their students, a Saber Tooth Tiger named Fangar, gained so much knowledge that he felt all that was left for him to do was take over Chima. Fluminox and the other phoenix protected those who would not fight with him from his raids, but eventually, they used the Great Illumination to raise their mountain into the sky and cast Fangar and his allies into the Gorge of Eternal Depth.
The Phoenix hid themselves inside Cavora as the other animals evolved from the Chi and secretly watched over Chima for centuries.
After the Hunters were revived and escaped their imprisonment, Fluminox began sending visions of fire to Eris, beckoning her to Mount Cavora. When she at last arrived at the mountain, Fluminox welcomed her with the Cat Guides, though disapproved of the eagle bringing ground-borns ([Laval]] and Cragger) with her.
He proceeded to lead them to the map room, where he told of "The Story before the Great Story" before provided Eris with an orb of Fire Chi.

Leader of the Phoenix tribe, Fluminox is many thousands of years old. He values logic and reason over emotion, takes life very seriously, and has never been known to laugh at a joke. An extremely skilled fighter, Fluminox can defeat an opponent before his foe even knows the fight has started. He speaks in riddles and it can be extremely hard to get a straight answer out of him on any question. His two goals in life are to protect the land of Chima and to see his son, Flinx, act more like a grown-up (both of which are very difficult tasks).
