Han Solo is a Star Wars Minifigure introduced in 2000. He was a smuggler who appears in Episodes IV, V, and VI and is seen in many LEGO Star Wars Classic sets. He is the first minifigure based on the actor Harrison Ford, the second being Indiana Jones. Han has been in 4 LEGO video games so far: LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (who can be unlocked after obtaining all minikits in a certain level).
Background
Han Solo was a smuggler, pilot of the Millennium Falcon and a good friend of Chewbacca. Solo had a debt to Jabba the Hutt in desperation Solo accept for 34,000 credits for transport Ben Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2 on their quest to help Princess Leia. When they arrive Alderaan was destroyed by the Death Star and the Millennium Falcon was captured by the Empire. Inside the Death Star Han Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker managed for not being notice by the security and rescue Princess Leia from the Empire. When they were about to escape they saw Ben Kenobi having a duel with Darth Vader, resulting the physical death of Ben Kenobi. After escaping the Death Star they went to the Rebel Base there Solo realize the the Rebel's plan to attack the Death Star was a "suicide". However, Solo soon change he's heart and returns to aid in the attack. The result was the destruction of the First Death Star. After this, Han accepts a position as general with the Rebel Alliance.
When the secret Rebel Base on the planet of Hoth was discovered by the Empire; Han, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, and Princess Leia went to Cloud City for repairs for the Millenium Falcon there Han meets hes old friend and former owner of the Millennium Falcon, Lando Calrissian. But what Han don't knew was that he was being tracked by the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett by orders of Darth Vader that also forces Cloud City's administrator to tend a trap on Solo. After being capture, Princess Leia and Han confess their mutual love. Darth Vader froze Han in carbonite but the reals intentions of Darth Vader was cause a disturbance in the Force because he knew that Luke Skywalker will come. Unfortunately Han frozen body was taken away before he's friends can save him by Boba Fett in the Slave I to Jabba the Hutt in Tatooine and receive a bounty.
On Tatooine Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca make a plan to infiltrate Jabba's Palace and rescue Han, but after Han was defrost from the carbonite Jabba the Hutt discover them. However they did have second plan with the now Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker and they managed to escape. Later Han Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian and later Luke Skywalker reunite with the Rebel Alliance. Han lead as a general on a mission on the Forrest Moon of Endor to deactivate the shield generator of the Second Death Star there Han and the Rest of the Rebels destroy the shield bunker allowing the destruction of the Second Death Star and, with it, the Empire.
Han appeared as a boy who escaped from an orphanage in LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. However, he never mentioned that his name was Han until the end, when he fixed some letters that he had pinned to his shirt that, for the entire movie, had been set to "Ian."

Notes
- There have been 15 different Han Solo minifigures released since the first in 2000 (counting carbonite versions).
- Harrison Ford plays both Han Solo and Indiana Jones.
- Han Solo (Blue legs) and Han Solo (Navy Blue legs) have only appeared in one set each: 7190 Millennium Falcon and 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina
- Han Solo is playable not only in the LEGO Star Wars II and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, but he's also playable in LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.
- In LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga he has a pistol as his gun but in the sets his weapon is not a pistol.
- Han Solo is a playable character in LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures as a bonus character.
- Han Solo, as he appears when he is frozen in carbonite, is playable under the Extra Toggle feature in the video games. He has no purpose in this form and just hops around.
