The Yoda Chronicles is a Star Wars web-series. While the original announced launch date was January 5, 2013, the release date was later changed to January 11, 2013.[1] Since then, however, it has been revealed that mini movies of the same title, but featuring voice acting and a unique plot, will also be released on starwars.LEGO.com. There will be a trilogy of episodes on Cartoon Network, the first premiering May 29th. There was a Yoda Chronicles mini-magazine in the March-April LEGO Club Magazine, and another will be included with the May-June edition.

Biography

Red2x2.png This is a description taken from the LEGO Club Magazine. Do not modify it. Count Dooku has hatched a sinister scheme to use a Kaiburr crystal to create an army of evil warriors with enhanced Force powers. The wise Jedi Master Yoda has hidden the crystal away in a secret location, but as his former apprentice, Count Dooku knows exactly where to find it.

When the Kaiburr crystal is stolen, it's up to Yoda - along with some old friends and new allies - to get it back before it is too late. But who is the mysterious Jek-14...and what role will he play in the fate of the galaxy?

LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronices unfolds throughout 2013 in LEGO Club Magazine, online at LEGO.com/starwars, and in an all-new trilogy of animated episodes on Cartoon Network.

Notes

  • Like most other LEGO Star Wars specials and webseries, it breaks the timeline. For example, Lando Calrissian is in the series, but he would have only been 11 in the Star Wars timeline.
  • General Grievous has a new variant in the miniseries, that has not appeared in a set yet.
  • The Yoda Chronicles is also the label for 2013 product videos that are similar to the Online Clone Wars Comics.
