Welcome to Brickipedia Reviews!
There are a number of templates that have been created for Brickipedia which you can use. These include:
- A star table, where you can give ratings to the set based on whatever you wish. Ratings are out of 5. The template works by inserting this code:
{{StarTable|<topic 1>|"x"|<topic 2>|"y"|<topic 3>|"z"}} For example, {{StarTable|Price|4|Overall|4.5}} would produce a table showing a rating of 4 stars out of 5 for price, and 4.5 stars out of 5 for an overall rating. You may have up to 10 different topics in your star table.
- A vote template, which allows other users to vote on your reviews.
{{vote}}produces a box which displays a number, representing the number of users who have clicked the box to indicate that they like your review.{{vote|1}}produces a box where with five stars, and other users can rate how much they like your review out of 5. Please only use one vote template in your review, as only one will work. {{Comments}}can be added to the end of your review, which can be used for feedback on your review and allows users to comment in a comments box. Please be sure to include the noinclude tags if you do wish to have comments.- Polls can be used to ask readers questions. Simply start with
<poll>then on the next line, add your question, and fill any subsequent lines with options for the users to vote on. To end the poll area, use</poll>.
If you are not familiar with wikicode, here are some quick pointers:
- Starting a line with a * formats the paragraph to be indented and start with a bullet point.
- To make a heading, you can use = signs. The more = signs, the smaller the heading. Two equals signs on each side, ie, ==Title== is commonly used as a main heading, while ===Three equals signs=== is commonly used as a subheading.
- You can upload images by pressing "Upload file" in the sidebar. Once uploaded, files can be inserted by using the code
[[File:<filename>|<size>px|<left or right>]], where<size>is a number indicating how large you want your image. If you would like a caption with your image, add|thumb|<your caption>before the]]signs.
Finally, some code is included below, so that your review is properly added to review pages. It is important that you do not alter or remove this code, or it may cause your review to not display properly.
