Background
There have been four Robins; Dick Grayson, who became Nightwing, Jason Todd, who was presumed dead and turned to crime as Red Hood II, Tim Drake who is the current Robin who appears in LEGO sets and LEGO Batman: The Videogame, and Bruce Wayne, who worked with Detective Harvey Harris in the costume.
After Tim Drake saved Batman from The Penguin, Batman realized a resemblance between Tim Drake and the first Robin, Dick Grayson. At age nine, Tim discovered Batman's true identity to be Bruce Wayne and was recruited as Batman's sidekick, Robin.

Variations
There have been two Robin minifigures since the first released in 2006. The only difference is the 2008 variation uses the newer Mutt Williams hairpiece in Black, rather than Gilderoy Lockhart's. In 2012 Robin will again be Tim Drake but this time his costume will have a black domino mask and will have the red and black suit instead of red and green
In LEGO Batman: The Videogame

Appearance
In the videogame, Robin is identical to his appearance in 7783 The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion.
Abilities

Robin's Super Suits
In his magnet suit, Robin is able to walk up magnetic walls. When in the attraction suit, Robin is able to collect small, red, yellow, and green LEGO pieces and place them into a special machine which will create something out of them.
While using the tech suit, Robin may activate green tech panels, an ability which may also be used by Scientist. The Dive Suit allows Robin to dive deeper into water, an ability which Killer Croc may mimic.
Weapons
Robin is also armed with a red and green batarang. Once the "Freeze Batarang" upgrade is purchased, Robin's batarang will freeze enemies while he is in the dive suit in a fashion similar to Mr. Freeze's ice gun.
