News reporter update
- Hopefully, when you go to Brickipedia_News:Home, you should now see a box to create new reports, which will only appear for news reporters. So to make a new report, just type in the name of the article and all the stuff is preloaded into it (meaning you don't have to do all that copy-paste work anymore). (Also, in case you don't know, there's an active member request here) NovaHawk 23:43, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
Caek
I think we need a Caek wikilove barnstar :P UltrasonicNXT (talk)

I uploaded 12 or so files but they aren't showing up in recent changes, nor are they showing up on the page they've been uploaded to.BobaFett2 (talk) 14:00, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
The files exist, too.BobaFett2 (talk) 14:01, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
Weird. I refreshed a few times and it didn't work. Thanks BobaFett2 (talk) 15:31, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

I'm starting to do that botting now, sorry :P. After its finished, I'll work on a new template for your pages. (It would be really easy to do it like last time, with a massive list with icons next to each article name, but I'm sure I can get it with headings like you've done it now if you like :) ) UltrasonicNXT (talk)

All those images imported, running through some other ones at the mo too. :) UltrasonicNXT (talk)
Re:The Great Video Game Overhaul
- No, I saw that, and it reminded me of my plan to restructure all of the video game pages :) NovaHawk 23:09, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
so if i have suggestions about the site layout, who do i ask FB100Z (talk) 01:22, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Re:Tabs for year pages
- Oh cor, I only just about remember... It was just a yeartable inside tabs, with tabs for sets, books, gear, etc wasn't it? Sorry, no clue... :/ UltrasonicNXT (talk)
- YearSet - er, no, I don't think the third parameter is even referenced in the template! No clue why it's like that, where is it? Definately not needed as far as I can remember... UltrasonicNXT (talk)
{{ImagePortalYear}}
- Didn't you make a Semantic version of this somewhere? NovaHawk 01:50, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- I've started work on a Semantic one here (examples). I know the CSS is broken in the examples, but as you can see, images, pieces, and if it's an upcoming set are currently grabbed via SMW. You can work on it if you feel like it, otherwise, I've got to go for now, but I'll get back onto it when I can NovaHawk 12:05, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- User:NovaFlare/ImagePortalYear/Rebuild, User_talk:NovaFlare/ImagePortalYear/Rebuild- is that looking ok? NovaHawk 00:10, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry about that, my bad. xP Vasko (talk) 16:12, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
You've got your reviewer rights back
- Sorry if you wanted to give them to yourself instead, I guess having 'crat but not QC is a rare case where you can give yourself rights you didn't already have before :P NovaHawk 12:19, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, and check the gallery again, the alignment of all the boxes together is messed up, but I think the rest has been taken care of, let me know if you find anything NovaHawk 12:21, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- No need, it turns out I just figured out a way to format them all automatically :D (I wasn't expecting it to work) The only thing left is getting the number of minifigures- I thought there would have been a string/parser function for that, where we could just detect the number of times there was a *[[ , * [[ or <br/>, but I can't find one :( Any ideas for other ways around it? - Hey, so what are we actually doing with the gallery? Is it meant to replace the table on years? NovaHawk 01:08, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

2014
- Hey, there seems to be some problems with Template:2014/Table, which was causing 2014 to not load (it was happening to at least SoH and me). At the moment, only one of the subtables is in the template, because I can't add either of the other two back in (hitting save just causes my page to not load). I think the problem is that all that data is just too much for the template and it causes an overload (I'm not sure, it's just what I'm guessing). I think what we need to do is stop nesting the sets in a table. Instead, we could do something like:
{{YearTable/header}}
{{YearTable/themeHeader}}
{{YearTable/set|Set 1}}
{{YearTable/set|Set 2}}
.....
{{YearTable/end}}
I'll try and work on it sometime soon unless you've got any other ideas as to why it may not be working or a better solution NovaHawk 22:52, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- I assumed the slowness with the yearTables was because of the semanticness, but yeah, you may have a point about all the nesting. (talk page stalking XD) UltrasonicNXT (talk)
- You're/NXT's (depending on who's reading it :P) right- it's all the SMW grabs ;( I just tried to make up a 2014 gallery using {{ImagePortalYear/Semantic}} and it crashed. Now I don't know what to do... NovaHawk 00:01, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the Cookies

Re: Chat
- Spy? Is that DLC? There were no spies or diplomats for when I played through :( I wouldn't be too worried about missiles.. unless they have Nuclear Fission already so they have the tech for bombs. But Atomic Bombs only have a range of 10 anyway. It's the Nuclear missiles (from Advanced ballistics) you need to watch out for. Maybe go into a trade and see how much Uranium they have? If they don't have any, you should be ok, or you could trade for it so they can't build anything (bombs=1 uranium, missiles=2). If it was me, I'd just get my units placed as well as possible, then sneak attack and take as many cities as I could in one turn, then see how it goes from there. Are there any anti-missile buildings in the game? There used to be a SAM Missile Battery you could build, you might want to build something like that on any cities near them :S NovaHawk 04:40, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
Newbie question
Over in my talk you offered to help with any questions I had. I'll take you up on the offer:). I have a few questions regarding the overall content of this wiki. In the Manual of Style, it was mentioned that Brickipedia is not meant to be a set database. Looking back on some of the 'year' categories, such as 1996 and 1997, there are a lot of red set links. Should these massive amounts of set pages be created? Would that be spamming? Lego613master (talk) 12:56, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Eh... this is probably strange, but this is BobaFett12d. I seem to be having troubles with logging in. Is there a problem, or am I lost for eternity? 209.89.234.187 03:53, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
