Vikings' River Splash
LEGOLAND Windsor's biggest expansion to date; Viking River Splash is LEGOLAND's largest water based ride (of which there are 7 in the park).
Ride Experience
It’s a simple rapids ride, with the occasional bit of themeing, some examples include an enormous Ice Dragon and frozen Viking.
The boat travels round a winding river where there are different LEGO models around whether it be a dragon or a Viking, spectators can also spray water at riders through the water guns on the first corner. The boat then travels round more corners until it reaches the wave machine, this basically creates the rapids which keep the boat moving around the river. The finale to this ride is a bucket which fills rapidly with water. If you are unfortunate enough to be on the boat where the bucket fills to the top, it tips its contents into a wide channel which overflows onto the riders below.
The ride contains some of the most detailed LEGO models to date with the Ice Dragon being particularly large. Viking River Splash is one of the wettest ride at the park.
